St. Anthony’s School Ranchi organized the Inter-School Ranchi Zonal Declamation Competition 2013 on May 10, 2013. There were 24 ICSE schools participated in this contest. The students of St. Xavier’s School, Doranda, Ranchi had a mind blowing performance.

N.B. – Now they will represent Ranchi Zone at the Regional Declamation Contest to be held in July 13.
 

St. Xavier’s School Doranda organized 2^nd Inter Jesuit School Basketball Tournament 2013 on May 11 and 12, 2013. There were teams from Gumla, Dhanbad, Hazaribag, Chaibasa apart from Ranchi.

St. Xavier’s became Champion in this tournament. Master Rohit Jojo was declared as the Best Player in the whole tournament.

Akash Pati and Akshay Thakur class 12 students from St Xavier’s School Doranda, Ranchi were the Quizzers of the year 2012 – 13. This opportunity was gained by these two students by emerging as champions in the state as well as the National Levels. • MASTER ANISH KUMAR XB for getting the 1^st Rank in International Mathematics Olympiad.

  They will receive their awards in May in Delhi.

• Epil Ankita Hembrom (XII C) – Gold Medal in Kolkata State Level Karate Championship (April 2012).
   
• School Cricket Team – Runners Up in Ranchi District Under 16 Inter School Tournament (April 2012)
   
• Saransh Sushil Bage and Aditya Ghosh are selected in Jharkhand State Sub Junior Team to take part in Tournament to be held in Goa.
   
• Arunav Mallick and Shashank Shekhar – Best Speaker and 1^st Runner up respectively in National Level Frank Anthony Memorial Debate Competition held in Sacred Heart School Hulhundu. The school is adjudged as the best team.
   
• Aditya Bhattacharjee and Vivek Gupta – Adjudged as the best team in Inter-school debate Competition held under MDG’s in Loreto Convent. Aditya Bhattacharjee was declared as the 2^nd Runner up.

St. Xavier’s Doranda was the Champion in Ranchi Zone Inter School ICSE/ISC Basketball tournament in both the Senior and Junior category held at St. Xavier’s Doranda on 20-21 August 2010.

Regional ICSE/ISC Basketball Tournament 2010 was held at De’Nobili, Dhanbad from 11-12 September 2010. Junior Boys’ Team of Ranchi Zone was the Champion in the Tournament in which 7 of our boys played, namely, Himanshu Xalxo, Ronald Ankit Tete, Rohit A. Jojo, Hamad Zeya, Arpan Minj, Akhil Lakra, Anjul Tirkey.

Senior Boy's Team was the Runners up in which 9 of our boys played, namely, Siddharth Pradhan, Shubham Kujur, Shreya Kachhap, Alen Francis, Pascal Tirkey, Shashank Kandulna, Akash Deep Minj, Deep Raj Minj, and Joy Simes.

Among these players Siddharth Pradhan, Shubham Kujur, Shrey Kachhap, Himanshu Xalxo, Ronald Ankit Tete, Rohit Jojo, Hamad Zeya, and Arpan Tirkey have been selected for 14th ICSE/ISC National Basketball Meet which will be held at Kolkata from 4-6 October 2010.
